Linda was a licensed marriage and family therapist.  She worked with individuals, families, couples, and adolescents, in a variety of areas, including trauma, anxiety, depression and EMDR.  She had advanced training in EMDR.  Linda had been in the Carlson area for 35 years.  She enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, kyaking and camping.  She had been licensed since 1993.

Together we can untangle the ball of negativity that is holding you back and learn how to focus on what really matters  My name is Carla Buckner, LCSW and I moved to Carson City in Aug 2016 from Silver City, New Mexico where I retired from the Department of Veterans Affairs with over 29 years of experience.  I specialize in post traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, anger management, smoking cessation and marriage counseling. The methods that I utilize to help simplify your life are cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive processing therapy, emotional freedom technique, mindfulness, and Christian guidance .  I am certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy which focuses on why a person gets stuck in their trauma and is unable to move on.  I also am certified as a Christian Counselor through Calvary Chapel of Reno/Sparks.

Our first session together will be an opportunity for me to assess what all is going on in your life, identify symptoms that are complicating your life, and begin focusing on goals and direction to make life simple.  
I am available for appoints Mon-Thurs 10:00 - 5:00, Fri 10:00 - 3:00, and Sat 10:00 - 2:00.  Please call 775-722-6681.  My fees are $150 per hour and accepting most insurance plans. (Initial visit is $225 and follow up visits $150)

Stephen is a clinician with Carson Professional Group. His rate is $175.00 per hour. He accepts some insurance, he also works on a sliding fee scale. He brings many years of skill and experience to his work. He is caring, competent, and has a sense of humor. He has developed several powerful therapeutic methods which makes your change work, much faster. A little time, a big difference.
